First game kicks off in half hour. United lineup as following:

VDS
Brown-Ferdinand-Vidic-Evra
Ronaldo-Scholes-Hargreaves-Nani
Rooney-Tevez

Bench: PIG, O'Shea, Carrick, Anderson, Saha

Looking forward to our game today. Can't see us getting anything, but then again you would have said the same against Liverpool :p

So, in a similar vain to my last (optimistic) prediction I will go for a 1-1 draw with Odejayi scoring for us and Lampard for Chelsea ;)

No matter what happens it should be a good atmosphere, can't remember the last time we had a full house at Oakwell haha.

Pompey line up:

David James
Glen Johnson
Sol Campbell
Sylvain Distin
Hermann Hreidarsson
John Utaka
Papa Bouba Diop
Lassandra Diarra
Sulley Muntari
Niko Kranjcar
Kanu

Probably their strongest team bar Defoe.

Hope Arsenal are up for and beat Wigan. Important, vital, etc, blah.

EDIT: Off to watch Hull City play Scunthorpe in a bit. With Hull's current form, I'm hoping for a pasting. Which will be ace, cos it'll put them right near the playoffs at the least.

Dire half? I think its been great. We havn't played that well but we're still all over Portsmouth. At least we've got a game on our hands second half which isn't often the case. Tevez and Rooney need to wake up.

If we don't score soon I can see Pompey getting lucky and nicking it.

No its been poor from us, we are being stood up all over the pitch, we should be inviting Portsmouth on to us then driving into the box, as it is we are applying pressure with no way of making it count.
We may very well have lots of possession but its in areas we cant hurt them.

Im not sure I would agree.

I think credit is due to Portsmouth. Obviously come with a game plan to frustrate us. Upto now they have been very disciplined in their approach. Sooner a goal comes the better

edit: Although Scholsie has been a bit of a bystander. Wouldn't mind a sub for Anderson if things don't improve
