What are your views with regards to the state of football PRemier League TV rights going to be split between two broadcasters.
All I read is stuff aaying this is good for competition, but it really isn't. You don't cut a can of beans in half and sell it in two different stores. Only the fans of football will lose out because if a bidding war happens then that will push up the price and there will even more of a charge to see the other games on say NTL.
Nice to know the consumers interests at heart
I wouldn't mind if football matches had gone to terrestrial, but to go to someone like NTL in which you will need a whole new box or they will have to setup their own subscription channel is just a loss for football fans.
