I fancy playing footie for a bit, until portal 2 and Crysis 2 appear

whats best and why

FIFA or PES ?

im looking for tournament play, ie full english prem season, with the best visuals

apparently fifa isnt great on pc, well not up to the console standards anyway. Havent played it myself though. Been thinking of giving pes a try

Personally I prefer FIFA 11 on the PC over the console version - its far more responsive!

Not tried PES on the PC but I'm sure there is a demo out for both so try them and see what you think!

Well the fifa 11 on the pc is very like fifa 10 on console they say. Id rather they just make a pes 6 again, multiplayer was a lot of fun

Fifa 11 on the PC is Fifa 10 on consoles but with a few improvements.

Try the demo of both, i found the fifa demo to be a bit choppy even on a high end machine.

id accept pes 6 with improved graphics for the next pes wouldn't you?

FIFA 11- slow input reactions, online is garbage if thats what you want to play and momentum ays a huge role despite what EA say, and people generally quit when losing, and many other flaws such as EAs crap servers, MM is okay. This is a console based opinion though.

Pes 11 - garbage IMO, need to go back to basics with pes 6, players move in 8 directions, and run like robots.

Try FIFA 11 pc demo though, might be decent.

Yes! I played hundreds of online matches on that and got quite a high ranking. was good times

Fifa 11 on PC is good...it's the previous versions that were really cack.
It's basically a slightly tweaked version of Fifa 10 on the consoles.

I prefer it to PES 11 this year, although there's not much in it. Both are enjoyable.
