Footrest Question

Hey,

I'm trying to find the little bobbin bit that sticks out the bottom of the foot rest. When the nice lady tipped my bike over the RHS one snapped off.

What are these bits called?

Score! However after a bit of nosing I see a BMW part named "stopper" and have thusly located it on the motorworks site! Rather cheaper than a new foot rest!

However, now I need to determine how to disassemble the foot rest (remove the rubber) without borking it!
