I've finally found a native replacement for Foobar2000 on Linux!

I was struggling to find something that works the way I want for my large music library. Fooyin is ridiculously customizable on layout and filtering options and has all the features I use on Foobar2000. Library filter is exactly what I've been looking for to replace facets. I've tweaked everything to my exact liking but if that's not your thing it has built in templates that mimic other audio players in look and functionality.
It's only a year or so old but it's being actively developed and has a roadmap for adding more features: https://github.com/fooyin/fooyin/blob/master/ROADMAP.md The dev seems open to sensible feature requests too! IMHO this has the potential to be the best audio player for Linux.
