It's been on my wish list for a while now but until I see some reviews I'll hold off unless it's cheap, it'll depend entirely on how it feels to fly and how arcade it is but it definitely has my interest though it will need to be very good to leverage itself over IL2 Great Battles for me.

It's a Gaijin game. I have played one of thier older flight games and even back then looked lovely and was fun. I can't see this being too expensive. It would make sense for them to release a demo. It does look like one beautiful looking game.

I agree with you, the IL2 games for me (WW2 flight combat... ok also WW1 and tank combat also), are still sat on the top position. I may have to upgrade my Quest 2 to a Quest 3.

IMO, it’s a good move by gaijin, ie re-use existing tech to create what is basically more period accurate game mode of WT.
On top of that, they do make very nice looking games.

On the negative side, I wonder how long until they start releasing new DLC aircraft for silly money and their flight model is nothing to write home about.

So it could be quite interesting, if with some caveats.
