Was shown this short video so thought I share it with you all.
Time flies when you’re in great company. Join Geralt of Rivia as he reminisces about the 10 years it’s been since you’ve first joined him on his adventures in The Witcher series of games.
(Hopefully a new thread is ok, thought it better then leaving it inside the Witcher thread, incase people would miss it)

Great video. Actually ties in perfectly with how I completed my final playthrough. Same armour on Geralt as well. As much as I'm looking forward to Cyberpunk, I do still hope for another game in the Witcher series.

I was wondering about that Cyberpunk 2077 game. Is there a named character you will be playing like Geralt or is it just someone unique to you, dependant on class, e.g. as in Elder Scrolls.

I remember reading some speculation about the possibility of Ciri making an appearance in CP2077 given her inter-dimensional travel skills. That would be awesome! :p

Yeah, she mentions that she had been to a place where people had metal (implants) in their heads. Would be pretty cool if she did do a cameo at least.

Great send off, wouldn't imagine another AAA company doing something like this without charging for it. Looking at you EA and Bioware for the ME citadel dlc.

I very nearly passed on this when it was released. PC Gamer did a hatchet job review of it and it almost put me off. I came on here and saw all the positive views the game was getting, so I went and ordered the collectors edition. The best decision I ever made. One of the best gaming trilogy's ever IMO.

Would have regretted that imo. I missed out on Witcher 1, played 2 and got hooked. Once 3 came out i was addicted. Amazing amazing games. I may have to give Witcher 1 a go just to see the beginnings of this amazing trilogy.

You should, luckily the price on W1 is barely norhing nowdays. Some people I read can't stand the contorls for W1 or W2, saying them are to clunky. Presonally, W1 and W2 is about the only games I played through twice. Love the fact that both of them has different endings and it substantial ones at that. I probally gonna play through W1 one more time since only done 2 of the 3 different endings there. But yeah, Witcher is an amazing trilogy !

Had a feeling i may already have Witcher 1 and then....

... I see this in my gog account :) Guess i know what i'll be playing next ;)

I think what impresses me most is that they have made something like this when they really don't have to, as if the company needs anymore goodwill from its player base? It's clear just how much they love the characters they have created and adapted, they do it because they can. Considering all the big devs that have, in my opinion fallen by the wayside over the years, it's nice to have one where absolutely everyone involved truly seems to care.

Completely agree, honestly there aren't enough superlatives you could throw at CDPR, they are just awesome. Rare to see a company that cares what us consumers/gamers think and want. Its not all about the £££/$$$. As a long time WoW player, Blizzard were in a similar bracket for me, but alas they have become a big money pumping machine (lol hearthstone.) i mean fair play to them they are making billions.

I hope it's the former. Creating a character is fun and everything, but one of the things I loved about the Witcher was playing this amazingly designed character. There are enough games out there where you create your own.

I've watched previous NoClip interviews before and have been following Danny for a while as he took a big gamble leaving his Gamespot job and starting a new venture. The Doom vids are also worth a watch but yeah quite enjoyed that and can only be impressed with CDPR's attitude in the current gaming market.

Witcher 3 is arguably one of the best games ever made, and is certainly up there with the likes of Shenmue and Ocarina of Time for me.

Roll on Cyberpunk 2077!

This is awesome. :) They really didn't need to do it, but it truly shows how much they care about their fanbase. Great stuff.

Now I really want to play Witcher 3 again.
