For gaming purposes, wired/wireless?

For gaming purposes, should I get a wired or a wireless keyboard and mouse?

Currently have Microsoft wireless set and I love it but can't game well with it, and am getting my new PC on thursday so I thought I will get a new keyboard and mouse as well, so, wireless or wired?

The keyboard I decided on the G15, need to choose a mouse and a pad as well. any advices?

Budget kinda low around 110 quid.

I've been hardcore gaming with my Dinovo kit (Bluetooth - MX900 & Icemat V2) and I can't fault it. Wireless is the way forward

I would go for a wired keyboard and a wireless mouse myself.
Choice is to subjective. Just search these baords and you will get varying recommendations.
I personally use a Speedlink Ultra for my keys and an MX1000. Very solid very reliable and the mouse has all the features and extra buttons i need.

I have an MX1000 and an MX518 and for every day use and gaming I prefer the MX518. The MX1000 is just too heavy and a little too big for my liking.

Just bought a MX Revolution to replace my MX1000 and i cant fault it, takes a minute or 2 to set up but once done it rox !

Excellent choices, and I dunno about the G7, but the MX1000 suffered from terrible wear and tear.

Bought one, it took 9 months of use and it wouldn't charge, got a new one from logitech, 8 months later, it wouldn't charge.

G5 now, wired all the way! :cool:

G7 or G5, cant go wrong with either. Got my bro the G5 for Xmas after asking advice on here and i tell you its a superb mouse both build quality and features. Now i want one and im sure your love the G5 too
