Was an honest suggestion look at the science thread someone made a clear well thought out and informative first post good thread followed.
look at "nasa to announce something thread"
Crappy first post no real substance spam ensued.
and no you did not just start a debate you started a rant, which the only real question was how to improve good posts to bad ration.
making a few good threads with well written informative first posts and then a good follow up, is the best way to do that. Not by adding to the "noise" by making a rather pointless rant.

This place is just like most other long term relationships you have but as lots of members haven't had those yet they can't see it.
Sometimes it's really dull and you just can't be bothered with it and sometimes it's all you think about all day and just can't get enough.
Some members can't handle the lows and spaz out leaving them ostracised and subsequently gutted when they want to resume their relationship but can't, some members spaz out and never want back and some members just know that it'll pick up again when they as well as the forums are in the right place.
You shouldn't complain about a place that you have a chance of improving if you want to

Clearly you can't be bothered to read the posts and your only contribution was a trolling post desinged to illicite a reaction.
No where have I said that there aren't great posts in GD, only that some of the threads like "it's raining" or "I'd hit it" with mutliple quotes of the same picture are starting to get a little much.
Try reading the post and having a civil conversation about it rather than posting back with flame fodder.

Given that only one or two posters have mentioned they're seeing the same thing maybe it's just my perception. I'll consider myself put in my place, although after years of marriage I have to say i've not got to a point where I thought it was dull and couldn't be bothered with it, maybe i'm just special
From my point of view, I thought bringing this up, be it that I was wrong or right, was an attempt to be involved and improve things. The can't be bothered option would have been to keep my mouth shut and not try to stimulate a debate. /shrug
