Ok so i have my cpu overclocked to 3.5ghz and im using a vcore of nearly 1.5v, now this is the only way i could get it stable BUT im wondering whats everyone elses vcore set at for a stable overclock ?

Mine needs 1.55v to be stable at 3.8Ghz. From memory it was 1.45v at 3.6 (that last 200Mhz took a big boost in vcore to be stable) and still needed 1.39 to be stable at 3.42Ghz. The VID is 1.25v

Every chip varies though and at low overclocks it is a pretty linear scale between every 100Mhz and every increase in voltage. Once you get near to the max limit of your cpu, each 100Mhz takes more and more volts to be stable.

I've got mine at 3.25 at the mo with a vCore of 1.3 in the BIOS, VID is 1.2625, did have it at 3.33 at the same vCore but after being stable for a month or 2 it started randomly BSODing so I've clocked it down for the time being.

OP you might want to look at the Intel Quadcore Database will give you some ideas of the vcore people are using to reach certain clocks

I'm at 1.5v to get 3.6. But i'm watercooled :) Had it up as much as 1.6v when i did a suicide run to 4ghz :p

Mine needs 1.3625v in bios (1.352 idle, 1.368 load; in windows) to be stable at 3600Mhz.

Currently running at 3200Mhz, coz I've only got a stock HSF at the moment.

VID 1.2375v.

My Q6600 sucks compare to my first one :(

VID: 1.3250
Clock: 3400Mhz
Voltage: 1.55v (cpu-z load)
Temps: 58,58,59,58 (Prime 95 Small FTT)

Q6600's are indestructable, put what you want through it :D

(Note: This isn't entirely true, 1.5V in windows is a nice limit as per Pneumonics suggestion)

1.92 vcore under LN2, would do 562FSB with all 4 cores on
