No idea, as a hit in the dark, i'm thinking something to do with LSD (Limited Slip Diff) or am i completely off on the wrong track?

On second thoughts you'll never get it, I'll give you some clues.
One of the five led's to the left of it relate to that switch and you'd definately want to use it if you had stopped in a dodgy area.
