Hi all

Not sure if this has been asked before, but wondering what are the thoughts on a 'MM' for cars? Looking for a new car, and have trust in OCUK'ers just thought it'd be good for people to list their car for sale alongside PH, Autotrader etc ?

Obviously same criteria as traditional MM.

Understand the complications of the forum/ocuk being involved with such, but just an idea I think that is worth throwing out there.

Thoughts?
 
Opens a whole can of worms OCUK probably aren't interested in entertaining.

This forum is HUGE, much bigger than any UK-based car forum, surely?
It'd be open to all sorts of scammers...
 
Fair enough! Just thought it'd be good thats all - to sign up to those forums just because someone has a car for sale is a bit of a nuisance and hard to keep on top of for new adverts - unlike here which I check daily! But can see the point. I also should've searched *doh*
 
I think the spec me a car threads are more useful anyway. People generally link adverts they find. And I'm sure it has happened where people have linked their own Autotrader adverts before, whether they let on or not.
 
Its easy to sell and buy cars on here. It happens all the time between members. You just have to do it right.

MM would not happen. Too much hassle for the mods, they already have enough keeping up with us lot.
