I just got my first pair as my iPod ones died but they sound absolutely appalling! They're really tinny, no low end what so ever. Is this normal? Have I just wasted £50? Because I swear I could pick up better sounding headphones from the pound shop :(

I've tried them in a portable radio, my iPod, PC and another mp3 player and they sound as bad on all of them.

Oops, false alarm! I just switched to the large, soft ear buds and it seems to have done the trick :)

I made a thread exactly like this :D

i was uber annoyed with them. im using the foam pads because even the smallest silicone ones wreck my ears... just totally wrong shape :( ( i never had a problem with the shape / size of sony 71's though :/)

you will find that these earphones NEED burning in.

1: Listen you your favorite tracks, and pay attention
2: Leave them playing at a fair volume all day, all night
3: listen to your favorite tracks again and jump for joy with the difference.

My E2C's lasted about 2 and a bit months before they broke... its asif some wires have came loose inside the moulded splitter. sitting still is okay but as soon as i walk they go barmy!

Saying that i havnt tried the small black buds since. Does anyone want to swap a pair of the small buds for a pair of the large or medium ? ( un used ) ... one of my small ones went up the hoover :(

The Shure E2's were well known with this fault, get them changed.
