Hi all,

Went for a random drive last night and was out doing some country roads so I put some music on quite loud in my car, first time I've really put it that loud and noticed just how bad the stock speakers are in the car, distortion and pretty unclear sound at high volumes

I've got a Sony headunit which seems to be quite good, so wouldn't need that, I'd just be after new door speakers, and I'm guessing tweeters too to replace the stock ones

Trouble is I've been trying to Google what size, and I've been reading that they are 10cm speakers I'd need, then somewhere else said 13cm, then 13cm but they are actually 10cm in an adapter as standard. So I'm totally confused now. And I really wouldn't be able to fit them myself I'm guessing, I'm useless when it comes to things like that

I know a few guys on here have Fiestas so was hoping someone had upgraded the speakers so could offer advice. Any speakers in particular you'd recommend?

Cheers

dont no if there much different but my front speakers in my mk5 fiesta are decent for what they are. have them connected to an alpine HU and they sound alright, even when turned up loud.

they sounded awful through my cheap £60 HU before i got the alpine one though.

hmm, not really helpfull but hey ho.

you could take the door panel off and have a look at them, its only 10 min job.
