For the Grammar Nazis

I'm now browsing and psting a lot using my lumia 800, and trust me grammar is incredibly tough on that thing, as is the darn auto spell checker!

I agree with all thats been said on here, I find a lot of the same things irritating at work.

One thing Im really confused about thats in rampant use at work is "yourself". Nobody says "you" or "me" anymore (except me lol!).

"It doesn't affect yourself does it?"

"I don't mean to keep calling you as I know this is causing problems to yourself"

Is this right? Isn't "I don't mean to keep calling, as I know this is causing problems for you" the right way?

Or is it me thats wrong? Confused.

"Myself" as well at my office. I think they believe it makes them sound more intelligent. It is quite the opposite, actually.

"Please reply back to Todd or myself with your findings."

"You can include myself as a contact point for this change."

Only you can do something to yourself! :p

80s, 90s isn't much better. They probably can't spell eighties and nineties.

Why type 8 characters when i can type 3?

Also when you type a date, it should be full, not 80's or 90's.

When people say the time is a problem. There is only one acceptable way to say 4:30. Its four thirty.

Also in numbers the . is supreme the , is useless except for aesthetics i.e.

30,000 is the same as 30000. You use the comma just to make it easier to read.

30,000.43 Is correct

30.000,43 is 30.00043 It is NOT 30,000.43

Your completely correct, I hate it when people definately can't use sentances correctly. It makes me loose my mind and I find it wierd. Their idiots and I don't care weather you agree.
