Right, posting this in PC as Console forums contain more trolls than a dungeon in Cyrodiil...

I am ill, very ill, but on the mend, finally. So, as bored as I have been sat on my sofa watching day time TV, replaying through recent and old games on my 360, 10 mins ago the postie arrives. Hands over the latest edition of The official Xbox Magazine...

SWEET! Some reading material to keep me sane for the next 12 hours in my sweat box of a duvet.

I rip the wrapper open only to find on the cover...

MW3 vs BF3

WTF!! Why? Why compare 2 so obviously different games against each other?

Meh, just want to vent, not actually read it yet lol. Going to stick on Inception, watch that and maybe flick through it whilst I slip in and out of sleep in, yet again my drenched duvet of sweat.

Magazines. That's a blast from the past

Too true, I stopped buying magazines the day I got broadband, has probably saved me more money that broadband has ever cost me. Last time I looked at a pc mag it was nearly seven quid

I used to get my parents to buy me PC Gamer and Nintendo's magazine when i was in primary school.

Bought one issue of PC gamer once, only time I could afford it. Soldier of Fortune demo ***!

meet in me station 6c. :D

Haha, I expected a whole different load of replies lol.

Brilliant :P

Got a really good 12 month sub (something like £3 a mag) and figured why not at the time!

I like to sit on the sofa and read through them from time to time, its relaxing.

EDIT: still not read it, Inception has just finished lol.

People comparing Modern Warfare to Battlefield always gets me - since when have they been competition for each other? completely different style of play :S

Why compare? Because they are both FPS games, and seeing as the their target audience are console people who spend lots of money buying games magazines, they can probably only afford to buy one of them.

Oh, the mag also came with a cool little booklet (maybe 10 pages a4 size) purely talking about Space Marines :)

Want me to pic it and post them on here? As for now, going to read this comparison and see just how much of my Friday afternoon it wastes :P

Well BF isn't really a FPS.

You got tanks, planes, helicopters, light vehicles, boats...

Thats not really a "first person Shooter", its an element of it, but not the entire game.
