Planes could never fly that close together, it would be horrifically dangerous because of the air wake.
iirc the seperation is 2 min between each take off and landing, but i could be wrong, 8 years since i did any air law.
It depends on the route being flown by each aircraft, the speed category of each, the wake vortex category and local procedures. It can be anything from one minute up to ten minutes. There's also the "Heathrow minute" departure separation![]()

I assume 10min will be because of local residents/taxi routes?
