Hi peeps,
Been having a play around lately, some games hate the fact that my monitor is a sharp HDTV connected DVI-HDMI, most to do with refresh rates, and only setting at a less than native refresh (24hz or 50hz, TV does 1080@60 natively).
So I'd just like to know if this is possible:
Windows or CCC (xfire 6950's) must store information about what resolutions and refresh rates my display can put out, so is it possible I can somehow remove certain resolutions (1080@50 & 24) to in a way force games to output at 60hz?
Just a thought, as I've tried to force it with a radeonpro profile and that didn't work, I've been reading allot on a program called 'powerstrip' but I haven't a clue what to start doing with that program.
Thanks in advance
