Any one else using the beta 171.16 drivers? Is it just me or is it making my gtx fans go into overdrive! All i can hear is the fans when usually its dead quiet!

Well my GTS 640mb fan is 100% in these. However I can change that in nTune to a lower percentage, but it won't keep it at that each time I reboot and go back into windows - I have to set it manually.

Is this going to put a strain on the card or is it just a minor annoying problem?

If anything, it will be better for the card, because it will be keeping it constantly cool.
