how you guys getting on with them I read that it has made dx10 better
FPS are all over the place and is lower on all ingame tests, loads of stuttering, some random error on startup, keeps forgetting desktop res and going back to vista basic.
Hibernate and suspend fail to resume most of the time.
While there are some very interesting settings in the control panel now, these are terrible drivers. Back to 169.25, best set so far I have found.

Just been onto the NVidia beta driver site and got the following
ForceWare Release 169 BETA Version: 169.28 Release Date: January 10, 2008 Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit Language: U.S. English File Size: 35.5 MB
So how does the numbering work for the drivers work as I thought the above would be the latest...

Your as confused as I am lol, seems like we get a new driver every day at the moment, some sites host them, some don't, some only on their ftp sites hidden away, many not even at Nvidia site

You won't find these on the Nvidia site, as they (Nvidia) don't support laptops.
These are just laptop drivers that someone has added a modded .inf to, so that we can all use them.

not really noticed any disvantages still gettin the same fps as before 95-100 thats the only game ive tryed em on so far

Have they fixed the issues in world in conflict with it claimign the driver has stoped responding?

Well it seem's to have fixed the issue with 8800gt's fan fixed at 100%worth installing just for that....EDIT...Won't allow me to get to the nvidia setting's,if i right click on the desktop it say's windows explorer has stopped working,if i try to get into the settings via the control panal i get some crap about a rundll,anyone recommend a forceware version that doesn't have the issue with the fans running 100%?
