Also, no more BSODs for me so far in crysis.. played thru whole first level with no problems, no texture flickering or anything, at least nothing noticable! Keeping these drivers
 
These are running fine for me - cheers :p

Can anyone explain Nvidia's numbering scheme? Just had a look on their beta site and there are two drivers listed

and these modded drivers are 174 series, can someone who knows what is going on explain the reasoning behind the different number schemes and what they mean???

Some better fps with these drivers than the ones i was running from the nvidia site.

3dmark06 - increase of 56 (14690 - 14746)

crysis - +3.9fps avg (43.0 to 46.9)

css fps also seems to sit a little higher than it did on the last drivers which was nice.

every little helps ey. ill be sticking with these.

I hope I get 3fps increase, that should give me nearly 50fps in Crysis, I tell ya every driver release that has worked so far has given good improvements, seems like the GT is always getting slightly faster. Ok 1fps aint much good but for Crysis benchmark its always good :D.
