Forceware 91.31 problems

Hi, I updated to the latest 91.31 drivers a few days ago, and I have 2 problems (although if I can fix the first one, the second won't matter).

1) The NVidia tray icon, which I don't need or want open, loads every boot. I've disabled it through the NVidia control panel (old style) but this setting seems to be forgotten when I reboot, and I've also tried manually removing it from the registry but it still comes back.

2) Every time the tray icon does load, I get a bubble telling me SLI has been disabled because I've only got 1 card in. I know that, I don't even have an SLI motherboard.

If anyone could lend a hand it'd be much appreciated.

There's been a few threads regarding folks with similar issues, I don't think you're the only one having problems

Yeah had the same problems, it bothered me so much I rolled back to my previous drivers :) I think 91.33 Beta's are out there which fixes it

Fair enough then, I'll just stick with them for now and if it gets too annyoing I'll try the Betas. Cheers guys.

this is one driver revision i have not upgraded to and plan not to upgrade to either. will wait for something better from nvidia.

There is a registry tweak to disable the annoying sli pop-up. Details on customer help on the nvidia website I think - with a small download to automatically fix it - or use the betas!
