Forceware Coolbits for vista?

ok guys the main reason i switched back to xp from vista is that i couldn't force refresh rates at different resoultions! just wandering if there has been any programme released that will now work with vista?

my reasons are basically i play cs 1.6 at a resolution of 640x480 @ 100hz and windows at 1024x768 @ 100hz also! i need a utility to keep the changes and automatically switch them as coolbits does in xp!

i cant see why still, i mean with a 7900GT and C2D he must be one of these guys that things his shooting is better with 400fps than it is with 150fps

Mate, Run > DxDiag > Refresh Override.

i knew i'd get such stupid replies, all those who play cs 1.6 at a DECENT level will realise that most of the high level players play 800x600 and below this is due to it allows the ability to see more on the maps, things become more defined and pronounced so that it's easier to see people and it is also a better setup for me as with my old rig i always used to play 640x480 so just because i have upgraded my rig i'm not going to change my gaming as i am playing a high level! as i said i only play cs1.6 at the low res my windows is higher res and i play all other games (hl2,fear,far cry) at 1024 and above!

for the one person who did actually help me thankyou! but are you sure this works on vista?

Kinda makes you wonder why games houses go through the bother of making their games look amazing when people want to play at such low resolutions so they can "play harder".
People take these FPS a little too seriously for my liking.

thats your opinion but when i used to be sponsored by logitech / everglide / razer then i think it's fairly serious? i.e. travelling to big name lan tournaments around the world! cs 1.6 isn't meant to be good looking that's what source/cz and pro mod are for!
