Here's the dilema. Got a Dell 5130 Venue Pro Tablet with 3G. There are two driver updates on the Dell website for this, a 5570 module. I download it and it installs, but what it does is create a second adapter and hide the 1st one (in device manager) but the driver details all remain as Microsoft Generic Mobile Broadband (not Sierra Wireless).
If I build the device with a vanilla Windows 8.1 build, the same generica MS driver is already there, with the same version.
It makes me think the driver doesnt actually get updated.
Any ideas?
