Hey All

Right, basically I want to play Titan Quest with my mates across the internet. However, the published "port" range of the game is not correct as the university has tested my PC trying to connect to games and it has usually failed due to trying to use a port thats not in the port range. The uni has opened the port range that is suggested but they wont open the whole range up as its just too big and I can understand their point.

Basically, is there anyway I can make the game run through a certain port? I want to connect to my mates game so I guess that its down to the port he creates the game on but we cant find a way to force a port. The game does work but I have to try and connect to the game about 40-50times (with him making a new server everytime) to find a port in the open range.

So yea, any ideas? Both of us have the game on Steam.

Thanks

I use portforward.com when I need help with forwarding - they've got handy manuals for 99% of modems.

That won't work.. At uni he has no control over the port forwarding. If the ports for hamachi are open, you can play over a vlan?

That doesnt actually look too bad. I might try and set that up tonight and see what happens. Will we both need to use Hamachi for it to work?
