Bit of a retarded question maybe..

In my CCC I have everything forced on the top settings, yet in some games it is quiet apparent that these settings are not being forced. I have 4890s in xfire running in Windows 7 64bit. I turn off the AA in game and it looks poor so it seems like its not being forced even though I have the options to force ticked. Am I doing something retarded, could it be the game (example Aion?)
I'm running CCC 9.11. Is there a way to tell if its being forced (other than visually)

Thanks :)

Only used forced settings when necessary, don't just set them because they are there

For example, if I have Modern Warfare 2 this has all the options in-game that you would need, so you don't need to touch CCC, same goes for 95% of all games

So now you come across a game with no in-game options for lets say Anti-Aliasing, you can go into CCC and try to force this option, just because you force it doesn't mean it will work so you just have to test the game to see if it will accept forcing, if it doesn't then you will just have to use the in-game options that are available

Games like GTA IV, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway don't budge when you force anything because of the deffered lighting, also it becomes a hassle changing CCC settings for every game, so you can create a profile (read up on google or the help files) assign keyboard shortcuts, 1 profile would be for normal gaming, the other maybe to force anti-aliasing in games that do not allow it

I find that in games where there is no AA, generally the UT engine games... Borderlands being the one im thinking of. If I rename the exe to UT3.exe then AA seems to render properly.

Btw Aion is also ut engine so this should work.
