Hi guys,

Is there a way of forcing ff to reload a pages style sheet? I noticed yesterday that several of my most visited sites (including ebay) weren't displaying correctly so I ran ccleaner and got rid of all my browsing cache as well as other bits an bobs, and for the most part this seemed to do the trick :)

However, there are one or two sites that still aren't displaying properly, yet they view fine in ie or chrome... any ideas, other than to use ie or chrome for browsing :D

Thanks.

Nope, didn't want to know :(

Isn't there a file or folder (profile possibly?) that you can delete and it basically just restores firefox? I know you have to get rid of it if you want to uninstall/re-install otherwise all your old settings are retained.

Try ctrl+shift+del and empty the cache.

I'm pretty sure I've had this problem before, a .css file got corrupted and ctrl+F5 wouldn't work (I guess it thought the .css file was identical to the new one so didn't re-download?).

Iirc once youve ran ccleaner you need to go into the actual firefox settings and clear cache for it to work properly again.

Should have tried that, but at least that's something for next time.

I hit the reset button in the end (quick a nice little feature that I didn't know about) and all is well again ;)

Thanks guys!
