Hey all,
At the office, everyone has their own individual email accounts, and we all use Outlook.
We have introduced another email account that three people have access to, but it is an account that should only be receiving emails, rather than also sending.
In order to stop the account receiving the wrong correspondents, I was wondering if there was somehow a way to force the account to only receive and it be impossible to send from that account.
To give you an example:
acc1@
acc2@
acc3@
^ All three people have their own individual email account
newemail@
^ We've just created this account which all three accounts above have access to.
There have been times where someone has replied to an email that was received from newemail@, but I want the emails to always be sent from either acc1@, acc2@ or acc3@. This is to stop newemail@ being clogged up with correspondants, rather than new emails to the account.
I hope that this makes sense!! I've asked the technician that helps us with our IT issues, and he has told me that it is theoretically possible, but it would mean the three accounts will get a "Your mailbox is almost out of space" email sent to them daily, which would obviously be quite annoying.
As far as I know, we are running on Microsoft Exchange.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Marky
