Forcing nvidia cards to use triple buffering?

How can I force my card to use triple buffering vsync in opengl and directx games?

Go into performance & quality settings, set it to advanced options and scroll to the bottom, triple buffering should be there.

I think you can only use triple buffering in open gl games.

Can't you use DXtweak to get triple-buffering working for any card? I have been meaning to look into it myself.

Apparently you can do quad buffering as well with it complete waste though.
