Well this thread seems to have run its course and what I've got to say doesn't merit a new thread, so I'll say it in here...
Just driven a Ford Focus 2.0 Titanium petrol pool car. It's an 09 with 22k on the clock.
It's an ABSOLUTE piece of crap! I didn't come in here to wee on your chips Jono, I'm sure you don't give a monkey's.
- It rattled, badly. Everything not made out of cloth seemed to rattle.
- The handbrake is obstructed by the arm rest.
- Everything felt nasty. Cheap fabrics, horrible plastics. Flimsy door handles.
- It was very, very slow even for a NA 2 litre.
- The seats were uncomfortable.
- The interior is loose and flimsy.
- The gauges and display look like arse, old-fashioned orange lighting and terrible trim.
- The steering felt sloppy.
- The centre console looks crap with it's stupid Sony stereo that looks totally out of place, even if it is better than the pre-facelift one.
- It's not even that cheap to buy.
Would not own, 2/10. The only things I did like about are that it didn't have a fuel cap, rather one of those stop-you-putting-the-wrong-fuel-in types, and that it looks acceptable from the outside.
Good day.
