Ford 6000CD Code... Best place to get it from.

Local Ford dealer wants a silly amount to provide the code for my head unit...

Any recommendations as to where else to go for it?
 
Pull out the radio, post the serial number (begins with M) and I'll give you the code this evening. This is as long as it's one of the older style radios.

I had a mission finding it for my other halfs 6003 I think it is, last night after repairing it. I spent ages looking for a card, and it turned out it was printed on the first page of the audio manual.
 
I had a pig of a job trying to find the correct code for the Ford CD Player I had in my last car as the one supplied to me when I first got the car was the incorrect one... it was only until I managed to get the code off someone else that I realised that this 4 digit code written on top of the actual CD Player when I took it out was actually the radio code :rolleyes:
