Ford + Alexa

Wondered if anyone had any information on using the Alexa Ford app ??.
I installed the app a few months ago and it was working fine with sync 3.
I could listen to music, control my home devices all from the sync 3 system, it used to say that the market place isn't configured correctly on the first try but then worked fine afterwards.

As of this week its stopped working and always says 'market place not configured for this device'.

The app isn't available in the UK android app store but I downloaded the apk and used this.

Have any other ford owners tried the app?.
 
What does the Alexa app do the google voice assistance doesn't?

Ive a 2019 ford with sync 3 and its by far a total mess. Constantly freezing, looses the time reverts back an hour always having to reset the screen as it locks up when using Android Auto.

Pile off mess :D

Interested in hearing what the Alexa app does though.

Ahhhh i missed a massive one. So you can use the voice control to say turn on the lights and heating? I use hive so may have to try this.
 
Let me know if you get it working.. Mine was working fine until the other day. It will work with standard alexa commands but wont connect to my music or home devices anymore!.
Not sure if its because its usa only and they've put some location check on now..

Yeah this did work perfectly but not since the begining of the week.
