ford cous locking issue

car: y reg ford focus 2001
locking is only a key with central locking(no fob) and there is only a lock in drivers door.

none of the central locking works but i cann unlock the back door and then open. passenger won't even unlock.

what is it? if it is the motor how do i get the door open to take off the door card?

Possibly a fuse? Have you checked them all, there maybe more than one.

Do the motors lock the door then open it again? if so then one of the motors are shot, I had that issue with my old x plate focus

door never gets locked or unlocked but drivers door and others occasionally lock themselves.
