Ford Focus audio head unit - replacement?

I've got an 06 Focus sport with the standard Ford CD6000 audio system. My previous car had an Alpine unit and I had the Alpine Ipod accessory for it so I could play use my Ipod in the car. It wasn't ideal, but it worked.

The Ford CD6000 is terrible. CD quality is fine, but the Radio is awful and I cannot find the Aux input anywhere. Anyone here know where it is on these cars?

I need to get something to replace the CD6000. Any recommendations for units that fit, have good sound and are Ipod compatible?

Budget wise, up to about £200 at a push.

I very highly doubt that there's an aux input. Ford headunits suck, get a facia adaptor, a harness adaptor and an Alpine/Pioneer headunit and you're laughing.
