Hi there

Does a the T reg MK1 Ford Focus Zetec Petrol 1.8 have front/rear fog lights? As it is foggy tonight I decided to turn on my fog lights, cosmetically they are there but no lights come on front/back. The manual says on vehicles equipped with front fog lights the switch can only be pulled out once. If you have front/back you pull out twice. Well mine pulls out twice but no lights work. Are these just dummy lights on some models and don't actually work?

Just have a look at the front of the car for lights at the bottom of the bumper.

According to Parkers your car should have them

If you have lights there and when turned on they do not light I would guess there might be a problem with the wiring.

But to be honest unless the visability is very poor and your driving on very quiet roads you don't need them :)

I just liked the idea of using them for the first time :- ) Both front/back don't work then I guess. Is very foggy in Leeds tonight I think they would help.

the classic fogs and sidelights!

Can't think of anything else it could be Michael unless anyone else has a any ideas, On my focus like you say you just pulled once out for front fogs and twice for front and rear so your doing the right thing!

Its very strange that your front and rear fogs don't work.
