Hiya,

What tools are needed to remove the passenger side seat in a mk2 focus (05 plate 1.6 tdci)

Some dozy bint decided to vomit all over the passenger side seat after a night out, she offered to pay for cleaning etc, but if i can get the tools for it instead i'll clean it myself (tools more useful in the long run).

Cheers

Niiiiice...

Cant be sure for the car in question, but any car I've removed seats from in the past has just been a socket set job, although access can be a bit tricky.

Careful with the airbag connectors - dont turn the ignition on with the seat out or you'll probably have to have the airbag warning light cleared by a garage

Also remember to check for seatbelt pr-tensioners. My corsa had a clip you had to put in when removiing them,

Im sure mines were bolts and torx keys.

Get the tools whack it out and charge her n say u had to get it done profesionaly get a bit money for your hard work and inconvenience.
Unless ur trying to be nice to her to get in her pants

Nope, not even crossed my mind, and most certainly wont ever after her vomit session. Really ticked me off as im trying to sell the damn car, thankfully i dont have gag reflex so the smell doesnt bother me for now which is why im fine to do it myself and charge her.

No it doesnt mean what your thinking, just means i dont hurl at the sight or smell of nasty things :P

Sure, But it helps ive heard.

I would deff charge them likes. Go to halfords, and have a squinty at a haynes manual, if one is open, saves buying one for a car u will sell. Lets u see if u need to worry about pre-tensioners n stuff

Well went to halfrauds and got a ratchet and Torx set, seat bolts were Torx T50, just unbolted the seat and moved it about a bit to get access to the puke puddle, an hour later its all cleaned and soaked in fabreeze!, will see how good/bad a job i did in the morning.

The car will either pong like crazy or smell of roses!
