Ford Focus styling help

Hi,

I'm looking for your opinions on a few bits I'm going to buy for my focus. I have a 2000 (x reg) black focus Zetec with orange side/ front repeaters and i want to swap these with either smoked, crystal black or clear. At the moment I'm swaying toward clear and have found this on ebay:

Also i want to get some car mats, can anyone recommend some decent ones?.

For some reason my focus Zetec didn't come with any Zetec badges on the side so Ive just fit some today

. The rear just has the focus badge on the left would it look ott if i put a Zetec badge on the right hand side?.

Ive also fit a new rear plate as the one that came with it was manky, looked loads better with that simple cheap fix.

I'll get some pics when Ive managed to give it a wash along with the de-tango.

Thanks for the mat link thats just what i was looking for. Ive looked at a fair few on ebay but you cant tell the quality from the pics. Seems they're £30 after VAT and delivery, but still not bad.

Have you got a picture of the side repeaters you have fit to your car?. Are they similar to these:

I think I'll give the clear ones a miss as i just realized I'll need chrome bulbs. So its between smoked and frosted now.

Are the side repeaters easy to get off?, I just tried to get it off but it didn't budge and i didn't want to push it up to hard as it could scratch the paint.

This looks the same as DannyWs front repeaters to me so i might order it along with some clear side repeaters to save on delivery. Then i'll just have to get some chrome bulbs at a later date.

I actually like the others more than the "RS" ones. But i don't know if they would match in with the fogs and headlights.

. Just ordered that Ford mat set and clear side repeaters from the ford part shop and got them RS front repeaters.

I'll hopefully get it all sorted by next weekend and if its not raining I'll try and get some decent pics.

Did the 2000 Focus come with one of these fitted? http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/products.php?id=40

Just put some screen wash in and noticed it has one of these fitted. Also did the 2000 X reg focus come with a mesh grill?, as mine has one but most i see have a different grill.

Would this steering wheel fit my Focus?. Mines a bit tatty like someones used a chemical to clean it and its stripped the coating off.

My RS front repeaters came today but i didn't get a chance to fit them as Ive been laying some laminate flooring. Ive fit both the Zetec badges to the sides but it looks stupid now with 2 small clean areas and the rest is filthy

heres a couple of pics i took today for anyone who's interested. Cant wait to fit these clear lights then give it a good clean to get some proper pics.

Just ordered some depo lights from ebay

, i hope they arrive before Christmas. I think i might get the Exhaust trim at some point also as it looks really good on Tom|Nbk's Focus.

These mods should set my Focus apart from the other 5!! focus's on my street.

I don't think the bump strips look out of place tbh, in fact they tie in nicely with the rest of the black bits imo.

Mines a sort of black/ dark grey colour with a silver instrument panel? in the middle. Ive seen the light grey colour dash on an LX i looked at when i was first looking for a car and it looked pretty decent.

The only thing that ruins the look of my interior is the steering wheel. It looks like someone cleaned it with a harsh cleaning product and its worn the coating off. At first i thought it was worn with usage but the seats are still really firm and the fabric is perfect.

That RS wheel might look a bit out of place in a normal 5 door focus though. I might keep my eye out for a second hand good condition wheel on ebay.
