Ford Focus styling help

I had a go at jacking up the car with my new trolley jack to get under and WD40 all the bolts ready for the weekend, but slightly bent the little metal strip by the jacking point on the sill. Bit frustrating but hey things never go without a hitch if I'm involved :p:mad:

That's because you aren't supposed to jack a car up on the sills when you use a trolley jack - manufacturer jacking points are only really intended for scissors type jacks that tend to come with the car.

Sorry to bring this thread up again but...

ive got a mk1 focus with the horrible orange indicators and repeaters which I intend to replace with smoked ones to match the rear lights i intend to buy. However I wasn't sure if I needed to buy new bulbs aswell as the current ones are standard clear ones.

Thanks, James

Yeah I got orange bulbs with my replacement fittings too.

Funny that this thread has been bumped as i took some better pics of mine today with the intention of updating the thread. I'll stick them up in a bit as Ive got to drive my sister to Padiham in a few mins.

Just need to get mine lowered and some better alloys and it'll look great.

Black cars are pretty popular on my street :D

Joking mate, that's a good looking focus. I don't really likie them in general but what you've done certainly makes it nicer.

Ohh.. Forgot about this thread! Am just off down to wash my car then I'll get some new pics now shes all colour coded an with new interior! :D

Nice pics Mark_A.. You have good surrounding for pics, my surrounding are all terraced houses.. :(

:( i can provide some more pics as its my sisters boyfriends car. Funnily enough hes selling it asap and buying a Focus as he cant afford to keep it :D.

I know my cars no type R but i like it and im really pleased with the way it looks, especially for a first car.

Indeed. Lesson learnt. I jack it up from the subframe now with a block of wood to spread the weight.

Yeah, it would be even better if the sky was blue for once. I think i need to get some sort of filter for my SLR to make the sky look less washed out?

I cant complain though my car is actually caked in dirt but it looks nice and clean in the pics :D.

Just a quick one.

Collection trim off proper stainless backbox going on tommorow hopefully providing I can get in somewhere.

Backbox is Peco Boxer Stainless 3" Inwardly rolled, only bought it as my mate practically gave me it.

Not a mod as such as these should be pretty similar to the OEM discs and pads fitted but will make a visual difference as mine have seen much better days. Will hopefully be fitting these over the weekend, not bad at all for £41 delivered :).
