Ford Focus styling help

With the amount you've spent modding Street, you could have actually upgraded to the ST170 by now ;)

Pfft.. I wouldn't have a diesel then though! :p

To be fair, I haven't actually spent that much, I've blagged most of it second hand.. My wheels and tyres I got for £500 that included brand new Proxes 4 and refurbed wheels, my Bluefin I got for £300.. Reckon I've spent at the most a grand and a half, not bad when I bought the car for 4k anyway and that is over the course of a year.. :)

Over a grand and a half would have allowed you to get the ST :p

But you obviously have your reasons for choosing the diesel.

I just don't like OTT ST mods (not referring to yours as such).

Thought I would post this here rather than start a new thread...

About a year ago I replaced the front indicators of my MK1 from the nasty orange ones to clear ones. Sadly, they suffer quite badly from condensation and one has got a crack in it now.

Quite like the look of these:

Similar to the ones on the RS? Just one thing:

"A slight adjustment to a lug on the back of the lamp is required"

Has anyone installed these? How easy is this adjustment?

 They're expensive mate, the ones i got from ebay for £20 look the same as them and Ive not had any problems with condensation.

Yeah I thought they were a bit on the expensive side! I'm willing to pay it for decent quality though. I'll have a gander on ebay but quality can sometimes become a bit of an issue on there :(

The ones i got are good quality, they don't seem any different than the Ford side indicators i got from Ford parts.

Do your bulb holders have the rubber washer on to make a watertight seal with the light casing? The only other thing i can think of why you getting condensation is if the little rubber hose at the back is blocked. I cant see the more expensive Ford part being any different really as they're both just plastic housings for the bulbs. £56 seems excessive for 2 pieces of plastic IMO.

I ordered some from ebay yesterday, £25 delivered which is a lot more reasonable! I can't remember if the bulb holders have a rubber washer, they haven't been off for about a year. Just hope these new ones are better :)

Few pictures of my ST170 lower grille, finally got round to taking some pictures. The Honeycomb fits perfectly with the upper grille now unike the crappy grille before it.

Looking good Tom , did you manage to sort the wind shield out?.

Ive just got hold of a 206 rear wiper so will be fitting that tomorrow. Also got some speakers so both my door panels are off at the moment, just waiting for some speaker adapters to arrive.

Focus peeps.

I'm trying to decide If I should get some ST Headlamps (Smoked) I can get a pair for £118 from Tezza at FFOC so just wondering if it's worth it. I believe they look really good on the silver Focus.

i think them smoked lights and that silly grill ruin the front of the st170. get some projector lights instead

You mean the colour coded grille or the lower?

I'd only be getting the headlamps doubt I'd start colour coding or even changing the fogs yet.
