Why?

If the answer is:

'I really find the way a diesel drives appeals to me'

Then great.

If the answer is:

'I want to save money on fuel'

Then think very carefully then get out the pen, paper and calculator. Unless you do like 20-25k a year then the money it will cost to change will almost certainly not be saved by moving to diesel.

Money mainly, brought a house, pumping around £40 a week into the ST!

PS I like the torque too!

Well they don't do a Focus ST TDCi you need a Mondeo if you want an ST TDCi, and by Titanium it sounds like the new model Focus - trust me you will be spending many thousands more to upgrade than you can ever hope to save in fuel.

If you want to do it becuase you fancy a new car and like the way a diesel drives then go for it but dont kid yourself it'll save you money becuase it will not :)

Sorry Mondeo! its cheaper to insure, low tax

Low tax? Hell do it then, trade your £8000ish car in for one thats about £15000 becuase it'll be 40 quid a year cheaper to tax :p

Only joking with you, I'd trade a Focus in for a Mondeo ST like a shot without hesitation but I wouldn't do it thinking I'd save money becuase I wouldn't :)

Point taken, yeah want another car too, got that bug again.
