Ford Sat Nav not working?

Parents have a slight issue with the satellite navigation system, it has the Blaupunkt NX system, and the satellite navigation works sort of. The voice works and it shows in the instrument cluster the next turning BUT the actual map on the screen just shows the location of the destination, it doesn't move.

I've tried taking the disc out and cleaning it with a cloth but it's still doing it, do these systems not have turn by turn navigation?

EDIT:Should say it's a Ford S-Max, but it's the same system as in the Ford Mondeo
 
Hit Menu and have a look at the Map settings page. I think it can be set to permanently show the destination.

If it's giving the voice instructions and the turns in the Convers display between the dials then the disc and drive must be OK.
