Ford service or local garage

My 2009 Mondeo estate up for its yearly service, also the free AA cover has been handy this year.

But ive been thinking of deviating, I can get AA fairly cheap so I just wondered, would you recommend going with FORD for the servicing or using your local garage? ford haven't been the best cust service in my past, but because the service usually includes AA cover i go for it. this time im not too sure

my local garage has a good rep, i usually get the MOT done there and had a few bits of work done there, there local to me.

Given how common a car it is I would be inclined to think that if it's cheaper and more convenient then I'd go with the local garage. I doubt that a full ford service history is going to be especially sought after in comparison to a normal full service history when it comes to resale.
 
You can also pick AA/RAC/Greenflag cover up for pennies after cash back or it may even be included with your bank account so it's not worth sticking with them just for that.
 
Current 2009 Focus has been been to my local garage for service and MOT for the past 3 years with no issues, they were cheaper, easier to book in at short notice and did a free re-take should any of the MOT fail.
