I was wondering, if I buy PC games in Australia, will I have any issue playing them or using European servers when I install them on my PC back in the UK?

Are there any limitations or restrictions?

Cheers!

no issues..

I can play on Aussie servers with my UK bought games, so I can't see why the other way round won't work :)

Region lock is mainly a console problem.
There haven't been many PC games that I'm aware of that have been region specific

I guess on what game's you're talking about, anything like Orange Box might not work over differant regions and maybe games that require online activation (they should state so on the box if their is anything)

I would've thought games would cost more from Australia?

They certainly seem to be price hiking Guitar Hero/Rockband prices (from what i've heard).

Yeah I've not checked it out but at least stuff like iPods are cheap (4th gen Nano minus GST works out at about 76 quid!).

Guessing there isn't a region thing going on with Game DVDs, just video yeah?

Only problem i could see was if you bought them on Steam, they like to filter to region and get a bit whiny if you start playing them elsewhere iirc.
