Whenever I’m in a Latin country, my appartment will have an oven which is ostensibly of German origin as indicated by the umlaut that appears somewhere in the brand name.

Except it’s never a German make - well certainly not of the quality one expects from that country.

It’s always the same - despite the temperature settings indicated on the dial there are only 2 temperatures; room temperature or the surface temperature of the sun.

I really should have learned my lesson and chosen something other than cheese soufflé for tonight’s dinner party

I was in Castle Cary earlier this year, no dodgy ovens in the apartment I had.

Had a good walk up over the hill and behind that. Checked out the kebab shop.
