Good evening!

I am living in London. Just graduated a foreign PhD in the Socio-Political Sciences, that I started 7 years ago. Moved to the UK in 2019. I am thinking of switching my career, because it seems like the Social Sciences are not so popular. I can barely find a job in this field, and I hate teaching. I am thinking of getting into either project management or consulting. Is it worth doing a Master's just to be considered for a job in the UK? I have to mention that at the moment I am volunteering for the United Nations.

Thank you for your time,

Thank you for your time,

Once in a role, you could build out a consultancy advisory background, then start working internally to use your PHD to author reports and papers etc.

It is very difficult to get a role. Do you have any ideas on how I should proceed? Thank you so much!

Unfortunately most companies are letting people go due to economic outlook and interest rates making financial borrowing expensive for small-medium companies.
Couple with a large amount of noise makes getting your CV noticed is almost impossible.
You may find a qualification for prince2 useful but you need to be in a product manager role to build up the hours for the certification.
