Forged Battalion hits Early Access Release

This looks interesting, I am a big fan of older C&C games! I might check it out but probably not for a while - I'll wait for more reviews and maybe see what a websites have to say on it.
 
I think I will buy it and then just leave it for a while till it matures. 62 Reviews now all positive bar one that just says "Poor Game". :)
 
Old school-inspired RTS, like the sound of that. More focus on gameplay over graphics is a refreshing sight. Will watch this closely.
 
I caved and bought it. It's not bad at all. Very C&C indeed, more so than anything since. I also like the graphics desgin. If you liked C&C Generals and what came before this, it'll be right up your alley. What I've briefly played its very enjoyable and it runs brilliantly and the upgrade path is good and being able to name your Clan as it were us brilliant (with troops and machines person naming) . Only issue I have is I'd like to be able to "zoom" out more ; maybe like Ashes of the Singularly zoom type.

Had this on my watchlist for months, instant buy for me. I've played most or petroglyphs games and not been disappointed yet. Only played a couple of hours so far and this is looking to keep that form running, Love the classic RTS style, gameplay is great, love the unit/faction modification. All in all a very polished for an release title, yet to find any bugs or such, when its fleshed out properly like they have planned, its gonna be a great game.
 
Cannot rate this highly enough. (Litteraly a superior C&C engine). Been a long time since I've pumped this much time into a game. You can make it as quick or as long winded as you like. Brilliant
 
so i loaded up the game and the first thing it says is to read the manual at which point i went ergh! i'll look another day! lol

Need to havea bit of time to play with this game! hopefully as wellibob said its a better C&C game as i loved C&C.
 
looks right up my street this :D went to watch a vid on YouTube posted by "many a true nerd " got through the first minute then thought why the hell is this guy trying to be totalbiscuit it was so annoying so ill look again for some more vids soon
 
Is it any surprise its a good C&C type game when the guys who made this made C&C games ? ;)
Not trying it yet as too much to play but couple others who have played it stopped up later than expected so not sure whether I dare play it at the moment.
