forgot router pass, how do i?

Hi guys, since i reinstalled my Vista i cannot remember the Virgin media router password. I think changed it as default "password" does not work.

any way to reset these without loosing settings/portforward?

its a netgear WGR614

Usually, the only way is to reset the router to factory defaults. If you could just get round a forgotten password there wouldn't be much point to it, would there?

Use the reset button at the back of the unit mate!

hold the reset button in for 10 seconds or so, should say in the manual, that will reset it all to default.

well guys i ended up resetting it lol i did remember the ports and its all working fine. cheers
