forgotten nokia security code, any way to get around it?

okay, one of the managers has just left the company that i work for. he initially refused to return the company phone that he used. since then, we have been able to get it back, but the security code has been changed.

is there any way to either get around it, or reset it? preferably without losing all of the data on the phone. there are loads of important numbers etc... on there.

Call the network - they should be able to provide a master unlock code if you give them the IMEI number.

the network, as in vodafone, not nokia?

Correct - they will have a master unlock code for the phone.

Unlocking shops will do it. Had one done at the weekend for a £5. Worked out cheaper than calling 02

Or just type the IMEI into this site and it'll give you the code http://nfader.z-host.ru/ I've used it twice now and it works a treat (although not with the newer phones).

will all of the data still be available on the handset, or will the phone be completely reset?

i dont want to do anything without being 100% sure that i will be able to access the stuff on the phone.
