Hi there,
i've got a BT Homehub connected via cable to a pc with the internet working fine. I also have a pc downstairs which was running a wireless connection to the homehub perfectly. However, i had to reinstall windows on the downstairs pc and now although the network card recognises the homehub it requires the passphrase to connect to it.

As i have forgotton what the passphrase is and have tried all combinations of things it could have been i want to know how i reset it? Do i just have to call BT and get them to do it or is there something else i can try?

Many thanks t

Use the PC that's directly connected to the hub to logon to it's web interface, you can get the wireless key from in there.

thanks rp...i'm guessing you mean log on to the homehub support thing or whatever its called - i think this requires a password too though. I will have another play around.

My BTHomeHub's original password for accessing the router was "admin" and usernames "admin". The wireless password is on the back of the router on mine, other than that, I thought there was a reset switch on the back of the router?
