Hi, I have a second (drive D: ) IDE HDD which has junk from a Homehub on it. Windows picks up 4 partitions; 120GB, 125mb and 2.5mb. How do I wipe this disk?
So very similar, just different to get started, click start, right click 'My Computer' and select 'Manage'. From Computer Management, select Storage/Disk Management. Now you will see a map of your discs. You can delete partitions from here. Make sure you select the right partitions. There is no way back.
If that doesn't work for you, download a live cd version of g-parted. Boot from the CD and you can delete partitions and create new on es using this tool.
